Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a National Scenic Trail located in the states of Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The 2,178 miles long trail is ran by the National Park Service and various other third parties that work together in order to keep the trail in prime condition.
